Manage notifications (for Partners only)

How event notifications work

Notifications are a function reserved for NIVA Partners, not available to normal Community users.

In a similar way to chat, notifications allow you to send timely communications to all those registered for an event: each notification will appear to all those registered both as a push notification and as a message in the group chat relating to the event (so that it does not go never lost).

To send a notification to all event registrants you must use the competition management page, following the instructions below.

From the web-app

  1. From the menu at the top left select "Races"
  2. Click the bell icon under the name of the event of interest to open the appropriate pop-up
  3. Write the notification text
  4. Click "Add"

At this point you will see the notification in the list of those sent in this same pop-up.

From the app

  1. From the Home page click on your Profile photo
  2. Click on "Manage Gyms & Comps" [coming soon]
  3. Select your organization from the drop-down menu
  4. Click on "Competition"
  5. Click the bell icon under the name of the event of interest to open the appropriate pop-up
  6. Write the notification text
  7. Click "Add"

At this point you will see the notification in the list of those sent in this same pop-up.
