In the "Community" section of the app (accessible from the button in the Navigation bar) you will find the list of all climbers who have signed up to NIVA.
List of members
The information available here is:
- Profile photo (if available)
- Name and surname
- Boulder, Lead and Trad grade (if indicated)
- Distance from your searched position: this information is only available if climbers have enabled localization and is only displayed when you carry out a location-based search
Search for members
You can search for other climbers based on 2 parameters:
- "Location": write the name of a place of interest to you and the corresponding locations in Google Maps will be displayed
- "User": you can search for another user also using their first name and/or last name
The two pieces of information (Location and User) are complementary and do not necessarily need to be indicated at the same time: you can choose to search for all climbers present in a certain area, or you can search for name/surname or the combination of name/surname + location to search for specific climbers with to get in touch with through NIVA.
To carry out a search you must:
- Fill in the "Location" and/or "User" field
- Click on the magnifying glass icon to start the search
And if you're wrong, you can click "Clear" to clear the fields and start the search again.
Finally, when you have found a climber you are interested in, you can click on him to view his public profile [coming soon] to read his Bio and start chatting with him.
