Short-term Vision
Today NIVA is "the digital knot for the vertical world", offering users an end-to-end experience and B2B stakeholders unprecedented ways to interact with them.
Indeed, from the end-user perspective, NIVA is "like Tinder, simply for climbers": 71% of climbers struggles to find partners with whom to do activities together, this is a transversal problem for all types of climbers (novices and experts, indoor and outdoor) that today still has no solution and leads to a very fragmented experience on different channels (as evidenced by 25K+ Facebook groups and countless WhatsApp/Telegram chats to find climbing partners, as well as the fact that even the multiple world champion in paraclimbing, Lucia Capovilla, uses Tinder "for climbing purposes"). Thanks to NIVA, on the other hand, users can easily 'match' on the basis of skills, experience and location, thus enabling the creation of relationships and trust (a key element, the absence of which is felt when using the aforementioned channels due to the lack of specific information); they can also create events on their own, join those proposed by other climbers and NIVA's B2B partners (such as organisers of international outdoor festivals, gym events, street bouldering and circuits).
Complementary to this, NIVA offers specific services for two main B2B players: event and gym operators on the one hand and, on the other hand, companies selling products and services for climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. To the first type it offers very specific micro-SaaS for certain needs (not met by competitors). To the second type (made up, for the moment, of sector brands and entities interested in selling climbing-related trips and activities, such as mountain guides and tour operators) it guarantees a very specific marketing channel, where to find users who are certainly on target, highly profiled and interacting (key aspects in solving the problem of these realities of 'shooting in the heap' due to the lack of precise data on their target on other digital channels).
Long-term Vision
What has been illustrated so far represents NIVA to date, born on the wave of the climbing explosion and also based on the personal experiences of the founders; however, the long-term Vision is more ambitious: climbing is a good niche to start from, but the same kind of problems can be found in other niches. Therefore, the ultimate goal is to set up a platform where people can network digitally in order to enjoy real-world sports experiences together, with the social aspect of building trust between users and the relationship with the natural environment as key aspects. After climbing, there will be a focus on other 'vertical' sports (related to the mountains) and, later - it is assumed - on those related to the sea (such as sailing, surfing, windsurfing, etc.), adopting a modular approach to fast scaling up. In this sense, NIVA will be "the social for your sporting adventures, accompanying you between the virtual and physical dimensions".
